Our coaches are passionate about teaching the fundamentals of softball and advancing the Game IQ of our players. We utilize state of the art training tools to connect data and results to feeling and confidence. Softball isn’t baseball—we teach why and how.
FAMILY FUN
We aren’t only looking for great athletes—we’re looking for great families. Our Royals families hang out at games together and don’t just look out for their own daughter. We aren’t competing with each other, instead we’re taking care of each other.
LIFE LESSONS
Our founder Dave Darby has a few core principles for the Royals: first, this isn’t just about softball, and second, in everything we do, aim small, miss small. And no player that wants to work, sacrifice, and get better at the game gets left behind.
BUILDING A WINNING ORGANIZATION ONE FOUNDATIONAL BLOCK AT A TIME
Venturing to create a new, competitive organization is never easy, but nothing worthwhile is easy. The Colorado Royals was built from the ground up on the principles that our families hold dear. When we launched in January 2019, we did so with just 7 players. Today, we have 6 teams, 75 players from 71 families, and a program that pushes its coaches and players to respect the game, to have fun, and to compete on and off the field.

Join the Colorado Royals in the Royals Crown Series tournament to StrikeOut Cancer. Every day, 43 kids in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer. We play for the children who never get a chance to play. So join the Colorado Royals on a fun weekend to support a great cause and help kids fight cancer.
